From Byzantium to the Ottomans, the district of Zeyrek has always maintained its significance throughout history and was inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985 as part of the “Historic Areas of Istanbul”. As for Zeyrek Çinili Hamam, it is cultural treasure that adds value to the district with much of its splendor revived after extensive restoration. This five-century-old masterpiece by Mimar Sinan is now ready for venue rental in addition to its function as a hammam.

MEN’S COLD ROOM
For centuries, men in Istanbul would lie on the sofas after bathing and have hammam pleasure with various treats such as Turkish delights and sweets while the sound of the water from the central fountain echoed under the majestic dome. Witness to the countless stories throughout history, this space effortlessly weaves a glorious past with modern amenities for exclusive events.
WOMEN’S COLD ROOM
The hammam has been an important socializing space for women especially in the Ottoman times. They would meet here, get information about what was happening and create a private universe that belonged only to them. The cold room of the hammam was the last stop before they stepped back into the outer world. After bathing, they would lie on the sofas here and chat with each other. This space where stories of five hundred years echoed under its dome, is now a ready to host your events with modern amenities.
GARDEN & TERRACE
Added to the project during the hammam’s restoration, the garden is home to some archaeological artifacts found during the hammam excavations. This tranquil space is ideal for outdoor events with the added benefit of using the rooftop terrace that offers a view of the Golden Horn and surrounding historical structures.
