As part of the Zeyrek Çinili Hamam Museum’s Children’s Learning Program, this workshop led by Atölye Pikolo invites children to explore both art and the creative process.
Inspired by Margaret R. Thompson’s Temenos: Inland Sea exhibition, participants will experiment with earth, plant-based pigments, and natural textures, creating layered surfaces. Moving between figure and landscape, they will develop their own visual language.
Engaging multiple senses, the workshop encourages children to think through materials, express through texture, and freely expand their imagination.
Each child will complete their own artwork to take home. Meanwhile, parents will join a guided tour of the museum, exploring the unique story of the hammam.
